GTS Photos for 2-18-08

Green Thumb Sunday

Gardeners, Plant and Nature lovers can join in every Sunday; visit As the Garden Grows for more information.

I forgot about GTS yesterday, which turned out to be a good thing. Overnight it rained and melted the snow. I found two snowdrops, a hyacinth, and some garlic. Unfortunately the garlic is to small to photograph, and due to the wind snowdrop and hyacinth pictures are sort of fuzzy.
Happy belated GTS!

You didn't tell me we had plants coming up! Where are they (I can't remember where we planted them.)

Love,
Mom

OMG!
There are sprouts here, in NY, now? No, seriously?
I still have about 3 inches of snow on the ground and not a darn thing showing itself.
:(

I'm glad I checked back to see if I had missed your GTS post. Isn't it fun to find a sprout when you least expect it?

Mom- the bulbs are in my perennial garden. Some of the bulbs in the other gardens have started to come up, but not enough to photograph.

Tina- Yep, sprouts. ;) Most of the perennials in my herb/flower garden are green, too. Who knows if they still are - we've had some snow since this post was written.

Aiyana- Yes, it is fun. I didn't expect to find any garlic for at least two months.

Thanks for stopping by!
