I've been meaning to participate in Garden Bloggers Bloom Day for quite a while, but I always seem to forget. I'm hoping to make it a monthly habit this year. (To participate, not to forget.) My blooms are inside- an Amaryllis and my African Violet.

annie- our last frost date is a couple weeks earlier, but we always have a few late frosts. My family has planted on Memorial Day Weekend for as long as I can remember.

yolanda- I like the amaryllis too. It's prettier than I expected. I'm sorry you can't grow African Violets - I've had a lot of trouble keeping them alive. This one is doing pretty good, though.
